B.Com (Honours) is a three-year advanced undergraduate commerce degree that goes deeper than a regular B.Com into corporate accounting, business law, taxation, auditing and financial systems. It is highly preferred by top corporate firms, CA / CS / CMA aspirants and MBA finance candidates.
Students learn advanced financial accounting, corporate accounting, business law, company law, taxation (income tax and GST), auditing, cost accounting, financial management, economics and business statistics. The course is rigorous and research-oriented with case studies, projects and corporate internships.
Graduates work as financial analysts, accounting executives, audit associates, tax consultants, business analysts and finance executives in corporates, CA firms, banks and consulting firms. Many also pursue CA, CS, CMA, MBA Finance or actuarial science after B.Com (Hons).
