Description

B.A. in Sound Design & Music Production is a three-year undergraduate degree that trains students in studio engineering, track mixing, sound design and commercial music production — with a focus on the hip-hop and regional music industry.

Students learn digital audio workstations (FL Studio, Ableton, Logic Pro), recording techniques, mixing and mastering, beat production, sampling, vocal processing, sound design for media and the business of music. The course combines theory with extensive studio time and live projects.

Graduates work as music producers, sound designers, mixing / mastering engineers, studio engineers and independent producers in recording studios, post-production houses, media companies and the growing hip-hop and regional music scene.

Studios and established producers pay more for strong portfolios.

Mid-level (3–6 yrs)

₹6 – ₹14 LPA

Established producers and mixing engineers earn significantly more.

Senior (7+ yrs / Studio Owner)

₹14 – ₹35+ LPA

Studio owners and top commercial producers earn well above this range.
