Duration:5 Years
Eligibility:Any stream (Class 12)

Description

BA LLB is a five-year integrated undergraduate law programme that combines Bachelor of Arts subjects with Bachelor of Laws. It is the most common route to becoming a lawyer in India after Class 12, replacing the earlier three-year LLB taken after graduation.

Students study political science, sociology and history alongside core law subjects — constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, contract law, corporate law and legal methods. The course includes moot courts, internships and practical legal training.

Law graduates can practise as advocates, join corporate legal teams, appear for judicial services exams, or work in policy, academia and public interest litigation. The integrated degree is recognised by the Bar Council of India.
