Description
Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Product Design is a four-year creative degree that trains students in the design of physical and digital products — with a strong focus on consumer tech and digital UX/UI product design. It blends design thinking, ergonomics, prototyping and user research.
Students learn product design process, sketching, 3D modeling (Rhino, SolidWorks), UX/UI design (Figma, Adobe XD), prototyping, materials and manufacturing, design research and portfolio development. The course is studio-intensive with industry projects and internships.
Graduates work as product designers, UX/UI designers, industrial designers, design researchers and product design leads in tech companies, hardware startups, design studios and consulting firms. The field offers strong salaries and creative satisfaction.
