Description
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four-year undergraduate degree that trains students in pharmaceutical sciences — drug formulation, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacy practice.
Students learn how medicines are developed, manufactured, tested and dispensed, along with pharmacy law, ethics and hospital/community pharmacy management. The course combines lab work, industry visits and internships.
B.Pharm graduates work in pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, retail pharmacies, regulatory bodies and research. The degree is also a gateway to higher studies (M.Pharm, PharmD) and roles in clinical research, regulatory affairs and drug development.
