Chartered Accountant (CA)
A prestigious professional qualification in accounting, audit and finance governed by ICAI.
Description
Chartered Accountancy is one of the most respected professional courses in India, governed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). A CA is recognised as an expert in accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate law and financial management.
The course is structured in three stages — CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final — combined with practical training called Articleship. Students can register after Class 12 (or even after Class 10 on a provisional basis) and progress through rigorous exams and hands-on work in a CA firm.
CAs are essential to every business, from startups to multinational corporations. They work in audit and assurance, taxation, advisory, consulting and finance leadership, and the qualification is recognised globally, opening doors to international roles.
