Description

A Cybersecurity Analyst protects an organisation’s computers, networks and data from hackers, malware and breaches. The role involves monitoring systems for threats, responding to incidents and hardening defenses before attacks happen.

With rising cybercrime and strict data-protection rules, skilled analysts are in short supply and high demand across banks, IT firms, government and consulting. Certifications like CEH and Security+ are often as valuable as a degree.

A CS or specialised cybersecurity degree is the most common foundation.
