Description
ITI Welder is a 1–2 year vocational course under the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) framework that trains students in metal fabrication and welding joining techniques. It is designed for early entry into the manufacturing and construction workforce.
Students learn arc welding, gas welding, MIG and TIG welding, metal fabrication, cutting, welding safety, blueprint reading and quality inspection. The course is highly practical with workshop training and industry apprenticeships.
Graduates work as welders, fabrication workers, pipe welders, welding supervisors and welding technicians in manufacturing companies, construction firms, shipyards, oil and gas and infrastructure projects.
